Mentorship

At WREN, we believe mentorship is the cornerstone of personal and professional development. We have developed several different programs in which we strive to create meaningful connections that guide individuals as they navigate academic challenges, career aspirations, and personal growth. Overall, we hope to build supportive, empowering relationships between women at all stages of their academic and professional journeys!

Overview

The Women’s Engagement Network (WREN) offers three dynamic mentorship programs designed to support women at various stages of their academic, professional, and personal journeys. Through our carefully tailored mentorship programs, we aim to build a strong, inclusive community that fosters empowerment, collaboration, and leadership not only in WREN, but in our surrounding Boston community!

Internal Mentorship

This exclusive mentorship initiative connects our WREN Jumpstart and Scholar participants to enhance our internal network. Jumpstart members will receive guidance from Scholars in goal-setting, research, and overcoming challenges, all while building meaningful, lasting relationships through personalized mentorship experiences. Regular one-on-one meetings and group activities make this a powerful opportunity for professional development.

We are excited to officially launch our WREN BIRDS program this semester! Through weekly visits to participating schools and community groups, we will engage with non-university students, showcasing the diverse possibilities within the world of research. Our goal is to ignite curiosity, foster connections, and demonstrate that research for anyone passionate about exploring new ideas.

Join us as we cultivate a foster a lifelong love of research and create a supportive community where everyone can thrive!
